What I want to do after graduation

My Summer Plan

This summer marks the continuation of my commitment to my current job, which I’ve been dedicated to for an impressive three years now. Given my ongoing work commitments, I’ll have limited availability for stage-related opportunities, and I’ll primarily be able to take on part-time roles. However, despite my time constraints, I want to emphasize that I’m wholeheartedly dedicated to making the most of any stage experience that comes my way.

My primary goal for this summer is to apply the extensive theoretical knowledge I’ve acquired in the field of graphic and web design and put it to practical use. I’m particularly enthusiastic about the prospect of exploring new avenues that will not only expand my skill set but also contribute to enriching my portfolio. Although I’m not a complete novice I’ve picked up some freelance projects, every day it’s a new learning opportunity to evolve my designing skills.

If I were to pinpoint an area of specialization and express my preference, I would unequivocally state that my strengths lie in print design and illustration. The process of creating vector illustrations, whether it involves crafting a compelling brand mascot, designing captivating patterns for a brand’s identity, or producing intricate illustrations for packaging, is what truly ignites my passion. I derive immense satisfaction from working on graphics related to brand identity, such as menus and business cards, as they serve as a canvas for me to bring a brand’s vision to life.

In essence, I view this summer as an opportunity to not only continue honing my skills but also to further immerse myself in the world of graphic design. I’m excited about the prospect of working on diverse projects, challenging myself to try new things, and ultimately adding valuable pieces to my ever-expanding portfolio. My dedication and enthusiasm for this field remain unwavering, and I can’t wait to see how this summer’s experiences will contribute to my personal and professional growth.

About my Career Plan

Sourdough Bread

Embracing My Multifaceted Career Journey

When it comes to envisioning my career path for the next 5-10 years, I find myself at an intriguing crossroads. I’ve always been the type of person who thrives on variety, constantly chasing adrenaline and managing a whirlwind of ideas that reside in my ever-active mind.

Throughout my life, one steadfast passion has been my love for art. It’s my safe haven, the canvas upon which I express myself and find solace. However, as life throws its share of stress and challenges, I’ve also discovered an unexpected source of tranquility in the world of baking, particularly the art of crafting sourdough bread. There’s something oddly therapeutic about the process, and it not only satisfies my creative inclinations but also aligns with my need to manage my sensitivity to gluten.

As I gaze into the future, I find myself contemplating two intertwined career paths that harmoniously blend my passions. The first path entails creating my own brand from scratch, leveraging my design skills to breathe life into a unique and captivating venture. Whether it’s in the realm of fashion, interior design, or any other creative endeavor, the prospect of crafting something wholly my own excites me. The freedom to innovate, make decisions, and build a brand from the ground up is a dream I’m eager to chase.

On the other hand, my newfound passion for baking beckons. I can envision the delightful aroma of freshly baked sourdough bread filling a cozy bakery, drawing in customers who appreciate the artistry and craftsmanship of this age-old tradition. The idea of running my own bakery, where I can experiment with flavors, textures, and designs, fills me with a sense of fulfillment and purpose.

To maintain a delicate balance between these two parallel passions, I intend to continue freelancing as a graphic designer. This not only ensures that my design skills remain sharp but also allows me to explore a multitude of creative avenues and keep my artistic spirit alive.

In essence, my career path is a dynamic and evolving journey, one that embraces my love for art, my newfound passion for baking, and my desire to build something uniquely my own. The next 5-10 years promise to be a thrilling adventure as I navigate these dual paths, each infused with creativity, ambition, and a zest for life. Along the way, I’ll continue to learn, grow, and shape a career that reflects my multifaceted personality and aspirations.
